VIRGINIA BEACH -- Two teenagers stole the scene in VSGA Women's Amateur in qualifying yesterday at Bayville Golf Club.

Kristine Rohrbaugh, 18, of Midlothian, and Kameron Carter, 19, of Bassett each shot par 72 to share medalist honors.

Rohrbaugh, who won the Richmond Women's Golf Association Amateur in the spring, hit the turn at 34.

But with wind picking up as the day went on, Rohrbaugh bogeyed four of the first five holes on the back nine, then rallied to birdie three of the last four for 38.

A graduate of St. Catherine's, she's headed to William and Mary this fall. Kristine wasn't the only Rohrbaugh to tee off yesterday; her mother, Rica, carded a 92.
