COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Richmond Renegades' once-promising season is spiraling out of control, the latest collapse a 5-0 loss to the Columbus Cottonmouths last night.
After going on a Southern Professional Hockey League-record 12-game winning streak from Jan. 4 to Feb. 2, the Renegades have lost six straight and have been outscored 9-0 in their past two outings.
Brennen Francon, Tim Green and Lorne Misita each had a goal and an assist for the Cottonmouths, who lit the lamp three times in the third period to win going away.
