Kyle Busch's second-place finish enabled him to take over the Sprint Cup points lead from South Boston's Jeff Burton. Burton finished 11th and now trails Busch by 18 points.

Burton's teammate Clint Bowyer won his second career race, allowing Richard Childress Racing to occupy three of the top five positions. Bowyer is fourth and Kevin Harvick is fifth.
