Ryan Bendele's 60-yard interception return set up the go-ahead touchdown for the Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Knights (2-0) as they defeated North Cross (0-1) 17-7. Kicker Thomas Young was perfect for the Knights: two-for-two on extra-point attempts and successful in his lone field goal attempt from 24 yards.

Tyler Cavemess' touchdown run in the first quarter was all the scoring North Cross could muster against the Knights' stubborn defense.
