Kickers rout Maryland
Bumbut, Smith and Nyazamba all score in convincing victory

BOYDS, Md. - The Kickers continued their climb up the USL2 standings, defeating Real Maryland 3-0 yesterday afternoon.

Adrian Bumbut opened the scoring for Richmond in the 21st minute, followed by Frederick Smith in the 52nd minute and Stanley Nyazamba in the 78th minute.

Nyazamba was assisted by Mike Burke, and Smith was assisted by Bumbut.

Real Maryland struggled to get anything going, getting just nine shots off on goal. The team played aggressively, commiting 12 fouls to Richmond's five. Stephen Basso was ejected in the 90th minute.

Nyazamba has been the team's offensive force all season, and yesterday was no exception. He got off a game-high five shots, including his goal.

The Kickers play again tomorrow at Bermuda as they finish a two-week road swing.
