Two Henrico County police officers won some of the top honors at the Chesapeake Bay Police Motorcycle Competition in Portsmouth last weekend.

Officers E.J. Leabough and M.C. Pecka received firstand second-place honors in several categories. Leabough and Pecka also joined officers from Alexandria in the team competition and they won first place. In addition, Pecka was recognized by event judges, sponsors and coordinators as the motor officer who exemplified superior riding skill, attitude, professionalism and sportsmanship.

Proceeds from the Saturday event raised $12,000 for the March of Dimes Foundation.
