WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Andre Gill scored twice, and the Richmond Renegades overcame three one-goal deficits to defeat the Twin City Cyclones 5-3 yesterday and run their winning streak to seven games.

Ryan Senft stopped 35 shots to win for the second time in as many days, and the Renegades trailed 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 before rallying to win for the ninth time in 10 games.

Gill added an assist and was a team-best plus-3, and Dan Vandermeer added a goal and an assist in the victory.

Senft improved to 9-5-0, turning aside 74 shots over the weekend. He surrendered three goals on 17 shots in the first period yesterday, then stopped the Cyclones' last 21 attempts.

Donald Melnyk scored in the second period for Richmond, and Drew Madeiros scored in ther second period, breaking a 3-3 tie and giving the Renegades the lead for good.

Richmond returns to action Friday at Knoxville. Faceoff is 7:35 p.m.
