Funerals for two Richmond-area shooting victims are scheduled for this week.

A service for 16-year-old Ricky M. Burton, who was fatally shot Aug. 10 in front of his apartment building in Henrico County, is set for today at 1 p.m. at Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave. in Richmond, said Alicia Rasin, a spokeswoman for the family and founder of Citizens Against Crime.

Rasin also said a funeral for 5-year-old Dominique Carter is planned for tomorrow at noon at the same location. Police said the girl was shot in the head Aug. 12 by a 10-year-old relative in Richmond's East End.
