Massachusetts Senator Edward Kennedy, who was taken to the hospital following a seizure over the weekend, has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, his doctors said.
Tests conducted after the seizure show that the Democratic senator, 76, has a tumor in his left parietal lobe, according to a statement from his doctors. Treatment, which usually entails combinations of radiation and chemotherapy, will be determined following more testing.
