A man suspected of stealing from senior citizens in Richmond's Highland Park and Brookland Park neighborhoods was arrested last night, police said.

Javon Lamont Watson, 20, faces numerous felony and misdemeanor charges, police spokeswoman Karla Peters said.

Police said the suspect would offer to do yard work, then use the pretext of needing a glass of water or a pen to get inside people's homes.

Watson has several outstanding felony and misdemeanor charges including grand larceny and burglary, police say.
