Hit-and-run driver injures pedestrian on Midlothian Turnpike

Richmond police this afternoon were looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck and critically injured a man walking in the 6100 block of Midlothian Turnpike in South Richmond.
The man, who wasn't identified, was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Police said they were searching for a black female who was driving a maroon or burgundy Oldsmobile or Buick with significant front-end damage to its passenger side and windshield.
