Little public interest in Richmond schools chief
Thursday, May 15, 2008 - 05:50 AM
The search for the next Richmond schools superintendent got off to a slow start last night before a sparse crowd at Thomas Jefferson High School.
The Richmond School Board scheduled four public forums to solicit input for the search to replace Deborah Jewell-Sherman, who last month announced she will resign in June 2009.
A 15-person search committee is to begin its job next month.
