POWHATAN -- Charles Turner Jr., who was arrested on a cocaine possession charge along with former Powhatan County School Board member Germando Harris, this morning pleaded no contest to the charge in Powhatan Circuit Court.

A no-contest plea is the same as a guilty plea. Judge Ernest Gates found Turner guilty, requested a pre-sentencing report, and said he will set sentencing in June.
