A suspect in the stabbing of a man in East Richmond turned himself in at police headquarters last night, and was charged with aggravated assault, Capt. Linda Samuel said.

About 7:30 p.m. yesterday, two men were at a cookout in the 1900 block of Rogers Street when they got into an argument that led to the stabbing, Samuel said. The men are not related. The victim, whose injuries were not life-threatening, was taken to a hospital, she said. The suspect's name was not immediately available.
