Facing foreclosure? The Synergy Business Club has your back.

The networking group will sponsor a program about help for people in this situation tomorrow at noon at Beauregard's Thai Room, 103 E. Cary St., in Richmond.

The program will be presented by Michael D. Snipes Jr., deputy executive director of American Neighborhood Housing Foundation.

The organization, which has offices in Richmond and Chesapeake, was founded as an advocate for homeownership and specializes in stopping foreclosure sales and saving homes.

The housing foundation assists by negotiating with lenders to allow homeowners to resume payments.

"We take on all comers," Snipes said. "We say there is always hope."

Since 2000 the foundation, a nonprofit organization, has worked on behalf of hundreds of homeowners.

"There is something that can be worked out 90 percent of the time," Snipes said.
