"The Papers of Sir William Berkeley, 1605-1677," edited by Warren M. Billings with the assistance of Maria Kimberly at the Library of Virginia and published by the library, has been selected as a 2007 notable state document award winner by the Government Documents Roundtable of the American Library Association.
