The National Weather Service says the morning commute could be a foggy one in the Richmond area.

The weather service is calling for patchy fog before 9 a.m., giving way to plenty of sunshine with a high near 83 degrees.

That sets the table for a work week that is expected to feature sunny skies and highs in the mid 80s.

The temperature will drop on Friday, with a projected high near 69, and stay there for the weekend.
