Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the running mate of Republican presidential nominee John McCain, is scheduled to be at a rally this afternoon at Richmond International Raceway after campaigning with McCain this morning at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.

Citing high demand for tickets, the McCain campaign moved the Palin event from the Arthur Ashe Center, which has 6,000 seats, to RIR, which can hold more than 100,000 people.

Tickets for the Palin event are available at http://virginia.johnmccain.com and at local McCain-Palin campaign offices. The doors open at 11 a.m., and the rally begins at 2 p.m. RIR is at 600 E. Laburnum Ave.
