Police make arrest in 34-year-old rape case

Save This PageHenrico County Police confirmed today that they have arrested a 68-year-old man in connection with a rape that occurred 34 years ago.
They identified him as John Henry Howard Jr. of the 2400 block of Burton Street in Richmond.
The victim was 81 years old when she was raped in 1974. She died 10 years ago, police said.
