Henrico County police are still investigating the death of a woman struck by a car Tuesday evening.

Eloise Powers Rogers, 83, of the 7500 block of Broadmoor Road, was walking along the side of Skipwith Road between Broadmoor and Tallwood roads in western Henrico when she was struck by a car shortly after 6:30 p.m., police said.

Two nurses offered aid until an ambulance could take her to VCU Medical Center, said Lt. Gary Watson.

She later died at the hospital.
