A Norfolk woman died Wednesday of injuries incurred in a traffic crash nearly three weeks earlier, Virginia State Police report.

Rebecca Land, 81, died at a Norfolk-area hospital of injuries she received Sept. 18 when her car struck a school bus at Ocean View Avenue and Carrene Drive in Norfolk, police said.

She was wearing a seat belt.

There have been 620 deaths on Virginia highways this year, compared with 783 as of the same date last year, state police said yesterday.
