Hanover County authorities are investigating two separate explosions of plastic bottle bombs last night at two area high schools.

No one was hurt or in immediate danger in either incident, authorities said.

One of the bombs exploded about 8 p.m. at Lee-Davis High School, and the other blew up about 9 p.m. at Hanover High School. The explosions were heard by deputies who were working security at football games at the schools.

Authorities are calling the explosions juvenile pranks.
