The much-anticipated Sprint Cup racing debut of Joey Logano will have to wait. Because time trials were rained out, the starting lineup for the race -- postponed until Sunday at 1 p.m. -- is set on the basis of owner championship points.

Logano's car does not qualify, so the highly touted young driver will sit out this event. He had been ninth-fastest in the final practice session for Sprint Cup drivers.

If driver speeds in the final practice session were indicative of likely time-trial efforts, the start-by-points lineup does a favor for some drivers and hurts others. Points leader Kyle Busch starts from the pole. He was 11th fastest in practrice.

Elliott Sadler was the slowest driver in practice -- 46th -- and will start 21st on points. Here are the 10 fastest drivers in practice, and their starting spots as determined by points.

Jeff Gordon -- fastest in practice, starts 10th.

David Ragan -- 2nd fastest, starts 13th.

Juan Pablo Montoya -- 3rd fastest, starts 22nd.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. -- 4th fastest, starts 4th.

Mark Martin -- 5th fastest, starts 17th.

Greg Biffle -- 6th fastest, starts 6th.

Jamie McMurray -- 7th fastest, starts 19th.

Jeff Burton -- 8th fastest, starts 5th.

Joey Logano -- 9th fastest, does not qualify.

Reed Sorensen -- 10th fastest, starts 30th.
