POWHATAN -- This summer's dry conditions are prompting Powhatan County to consider seeking help for its farmers.

The county Board of Supervisors will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at Powhatan High School to consider a resolution asking Gov. Timothy M. Kaine to declare the county an agricultural disaster area.
