16 high school football games moved to Thursday

Tomorrow -- Thursday -- will be a big day for high school football in the Richmond area this week. Anticipating the possibility of heavy rain on Friday from Hanna, area schools have decided to play 16 games a day earlier than usual.

The games scheduled for Thursday are:

Armstrong at Thomas Jefferson, 3:30 p.m.

Huguenot at John Marshall, 4 p.m.

Atlee at Deep Run, 7 p.m.

Colonial Beach at Goochland, 7 p.m.

King William at Essex, 7 p.m.

Matoaca at Varina, 7 p.m.

Midlothian at Meadowbrook, 7 p.m.

Monacan at Mills Godwin, 7 p.m.

Benedictine at J.R. Tucker, 7:30 p.m.

Clover Hill at Prince George, 7 p.m.

Cosby at Hopewell, 7:30 p.m.

Dinwiddie at Greensville, 7:30 p.m.

George Wythe at Petersburg, 7:30 p.m.

L.C. Bird at Thomas Dale, 7:30 p.m.

Louisa at Powhatan, 7:30 p.m.

Tidewater Academy at Blessed Sacrament Huguenot, 7:30 p.m.
