Third Street Bethel A.M.E. Church, Centenary United Methodist Church and Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church plan to distribute free new shoes tomorrow morning to Richmond students from kindergarten to 12th grade.

Last year, the congregation of Third Street Bethel A.M.E. gave away 819 pairs of shoes. This year, the Rev. Daryl K. Kearney sent out a request for help, and the two other churches stepped forward.

The churches will be giving out shoes at Third Street Bethel A.M.E., 614 N. Third St. in downtown Richmond.
