The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook today for the central Virginia region.
That means we'll likely see rain all day and tonight as the remnants of Tropical Storm Fay move through the Richmond area and up the east coast.
Rainfall will be heaviest west of Interstate 95, according to the weather service's Wakefield office.
Areas with poor drainage may experience flooding, the weather service said.
Rain chances continue through Saturday, with sunny skies returning Sunday.
