A Virginia Beach man convicted in June of first-degree murder for killing his wife with a crossbow in 2006 has been sentenced to life in prison.

Kenneth Creamer, 47, was sentenced yesterday in the death of Anna Creamer.

He had claimed he accidentally shot the crossbow arrow into his wife's back while she exercised on a treadmill in their garage.
