A Chesterfield County flea market owner was arrested today on charges of assault and making threatening phone calls.

Ace Pollard opened the flea market on Jefferson Davis Highway in June. Since then, dozens of vendors have complained to authorities about him.

Six civil lawsuits have been filed against Pollard in Chesterfield General District Court.

The warrants obtained by police came from vendors who claimed they were assaulted by Pollard and threatened over the phone.
