The Richmond Planning Commission tonight voted 9-0 to recommend approval of Richmond's Downtown Master Plan.

The commission recommended no major changes to the plan.

The plan next goes to Richmond City Council for consideration. At least one member of Council has expressed hope that the Council will vote on the plan by the end of the year.
