Groups opposed to the construction of a coal-fired power plant in Southwest Virginia are keeping the pressure on Dominion Resources.
Another protest is planned today, this one at 10:30 a.m. at the bell tower in Capitol Square.
The latest action comes one week after 12 political activists were arrested outside Dominion's headquarters along Tredegar Street in a protest that blocked traffic for several hours.
The " Tredegar 12" will face trial July 29 in the traffic division of Richmond General District Court on charges of obstruction of justice and blocking a rescue vehicle during the protest, which was aimed at Dominion's plans to build a $1.8 billion coal-fired power plant.
Dominion began construction of the plant in Wise County last Monday.
