A Richmond man died early today from injuries he received in a single-car crash in Chesterfield County late Wednesday, Virginia State Police said.

Joseph Chadwick Henderson of the 6300 block of Leisure Terrace died at 12:34 a.m. at St. Francis Medical Center, police said.

Henderson, 22, was eastbound on Millridge Parkway near the intersection with Court Ridge Road when his car ran off the right side and struck several trees shortly before midnight, police said.

He was not wearing a seat belt, authorities said.
