The woman killed yesterday in a Petersburg house fire was Arnita Deloris Tucker.

She died shortly after the 4 a.m. fire at 432 S. Adams St.

She was the only person in the one-story, single-family house at the time, authorities said.

The fire was caused by an electrical malfunction in a bedroom, according to fire investigators.

The house had a fire detector, but it wasn't working, officials said.
