He's just a little too helpful, according to Richmond police.

They say a man is targeting senior citizens in the Highland Park and Brookland Park neighborhoods by offering to do yard work.

The man uses the pretext of needing a glass of water or a pen to get inside people's homes, officials said.

Police identified the suspect as Javon Lamont Watson, 20.

Watson has several outstanding felony and misdemeanor charges including grand larceny and burglary, police say.
