The James River Chapter of The Links Inc. will celebrate its 25th anniversary today with a lunch meeting at the downtown Omni Richmond Hotel.

The group's national president, Gwendolyn Lee, an educator from Illinois, will welcome the group. CNN anchor Suzanne Malveaux will serve as emcee.

The Links is a not-for-profit corporation, with a membership of 12,000 professional women of color across the U.S.
