56 arrested at Foxfield Races

Save This PageCHARLOTTESVILLE -- Fifty-six people were charged with offenses at the annual Foxfield Races.
Albemarle County police Lt. Todd Hopwood says most of the charges at Saturday's event were for public intoxication or disorderly conduct. Police set up a booking station at the edge of the race complex, complete with video linkup with a magistrate.
About 24,000 people attended the annual steeplechase races.
