Slade Allen Woodson, 6-feet tall with a beard, has a personal page on MySpace.com in which he calls himself a "good 'ol country boy'' and says "let's just go buck wild.''
In a section on his personal page called "about me,'' Woodson wrote: "The names Slade . . . anyone who wants to go mud boggin, lemme know . . . i work too much but . . . im just a poor country boy tryin to survive . . . Lets go racin state.''
He said his interests include "Mud Boggin, workin on my trux, listenen to music, hangin out with friends . . . "
Woodson graduated last year from Western Albemarle High School, where he participated in track and field events, including the pole vault. He had also played on the junior varsity football team.
Woodson says on MySpace that he works on a horse farm, makes $30,000 to $45,000 a year, and though single now, wants children someday. He wrote that he'd like to meet "someone who cares about me as much as i care about them!!!"
Woodson has been in trouble with the law before.
In January 2007 he was charged with two felony counts of auto theft and two felony counts of arson. He was convicted of reduced charges of misdemeanor petty larceny and destruction of property.
He was sentenced to 12 months in jail, with six months suspended, according to court records.
