The Virginia League for Planned Parenthood will give away free packs of emergency contraception today from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Planned Parenthood clinic at 3415 Floyd Ave.

Emergency contraception lowers the risk of pregnancy when taken within 120 hours of unprotected intercourse.

Those who want a free pack will need to bring a valid ID with birth date on it.
