Federal, state and local authorities will gather this afternoon in Petersburg for an announcement on some recent arrests there.

Those attending include Chuck Rosenberg, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia; Marla Decker, deputy attorney general for Virginia; John Dixon, Petersburg police chief; Cassandra Burns, Petersburg commonwealth's attorney; and representatives of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

The press conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Petersburg's Union Train Station.
