PETERSBURG The Revolutionary War Re-enactment of the 1781 Battle of Petersburg will take place Saturday and next Sunday.

The battle re-enactment will take place each day at 1:30 p.m. at Battersea on the west end of Washington Street, 1.7 miles from the Washington Street Interstate-95 exit.

Hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. next Sunday. Parking is free. For more information, contact the Petersburg Visitors Center, (804) 733-2400, or go to www.petersburg-va.org/revwar/events.htm.
