Richmonders love Mother's Day Brunch -- it's affordable, fun and who can say no to fluffy poached eggs with hollandaise?  Mother's Day Brunch is so popular, several Richmond favorites are already fully booked for Mother's Day brunch, including Can Can Brasserie and The Jefferson's Sunday brunch.

But don't despair, there are still many funky and fabulous spots you can take Mom for Mother's Day Brunch. We've got your guide to the best brunch spots around town.

Line up early for Richmond faves like Strawberry Street Cafe and Zeus Gallery or try something new like Millie's sister restaurant Lulu's or Michelle's at Hanover Tavern with its beautifully landscaped grounds.

Avenue 805: (804) 353-2505
The eclectic Fan spot off Broad Street is under new management but still serving Mother's Day brunch, featuring many inventive items from the original menu such as shrimp and scallop crab cakes, chorizo and cremini mushroom omelettes, and braised lamb leg, as well as fresh quiches, French toast, sandwiches and pasta.  Avenue 805 also  serves up several fancy brunch cocktails.  Try the bellini, champagne with peach nectar, as a frizzy and fun mimosa alternative.  Reservation only. 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
