Carytown Seafood is up for sale.

Bad news for loyal patrons (we hear the grouper and salmon were great); good news for somebody with about half a million bucks and a yen for selling shrimp and more.

The shop at 3701 W. Cary St., which has been in business about 15 years, closed April 26 as part of Carytown Seafood Inc.'s filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

But it can be all yours for a cool 475,000 clams, which includes fixtures, furniture and equipment.

Carytown Seafood at Innsbrook Restaurant and Market, at 4040 Cox Road, also is closed. But the restaurant will reopen, under a new lease, as Beach House Bar and Grill. James Jones of Innsbrook Associates said Beach House, to be managed by Chris Stewart, should open June 1.

Jones likens the new restaurant to Jimmy Buffett's chain, Cheeseburger in Paradise. Fridays and Saturdays at Beach House Bar and Grill will feature Crocodile Rock (dueling pianos).

In other Innsbrook eatery news, Froots will open in about two weeks.

Jones said Froots, which replaces Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees & Smoothies at 4028-H Cox Road, will stock smoothies, coffees and fancy sandwiches.

Steven Kent Family Restaurant in Petersburg is offering an all-you-can-eat buffet for Mother's Day.

"It's like a huge spread," says manager Charlie Williams. The cost is $19.99 for adults, $9.99 for children ages 6 to 10 and free for children younger than 5.

The restaurant is at 12205 S. Crater Road. For info, call (804) 733-0500.

Greek Salad of the Week: Check out the Greek at Mojo's, 733 W. Cary St. (Haven't tried it at the 8908 Patterson Ave. location, but it should be just as good.)

We're talking a truckload of kalamata olives (a personal favorite), as well as a ton of pepperoncini, feta, tomatoes and onions artfully arranged on a bed of mixed greens. And everything is freshfreshfresh. At $6.95, it's a winner. tabletalk@timesdispatch.com, write Table Talk at Richmond Times-Dispatch, P.O. Box 85333, Richmond, VA 23293, or call (804) 649-6361. The deadline is noon Friday two weeks before publication.
