The marriage of Miss Lauren Hillary Napier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey C. Napier and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Wood, and stepdaughter of Mr. Donald Agee, to Mr. Paul Johnston Rhyne Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Rhyne Sr., took place April 19, 2008, at Independence Christian Church.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Doris Napier and the late William Napier, and Mrs. Barbara Goodman and the late William Goodman. The bride's stepgrandparents are Mr. and Mrs. George Foreman and Mr. and Mrs. William Metzler. The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Randolph Seay and the late Mr. Donald Seay, and Mrs. Jane Rhyne and the late Mr. S.A. Rhyne.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Maid of honor was Miss Megan Grace Napier, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Lindsay Rhyne, Miss Dawn Wilburn, Miss Megan Seay and Mrs. Kathy Tester. Junior bridesmaids were Brandi Watson and Shannon Brundage. Flower girls were Katherine Goodman and Victoria Watts.

The groom's best men were Mr. Michael Gray, friend of the groom, and Mr. Paul Rhyne, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Mr. David Jernigan, Mr. Steven Goodman, Mr. James Rhyne, Mr. Kyle Agee and Mr. Ray Spain.

The couple reside in Ashland.
