MOUNT HOLLY, VA. -- Elizabeth Miller Green of Richmond and Joseph Allen Floyd of Swansboro, N.C., were married December 29, 2007, at Nomini Episcopal Church. Father John Wall officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Green III of Montross, Va. She received a B.S. and M.S. in Exercise Physiology from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a Health Educator at Craven Community College.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Boyce W. Floyd Sr. of Swansboro. He received a Business degree from Coastal Carolina Community College and is owner and operator of TideWater Landscaping.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Mrs. Erin Darcy of West Point, Va., and Mrs. Stacy Boucher of Swansboro, sisters of the bride, were matrons of honor. Mrs. Cindy Karl, sister of the groom, was a bridesmaid. Junior bridesmaids were Leanna Green, and Meghan and Allison Darcy, all nieces of the bride. Jordan Floyd, niece of the groom, and Courtney Darcy, niece of the bride, were flower girls.

Mr. Boyce W. Floyd Sr. served as his son's best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Boyce W. Floyd Jr. and Mr. Steve Floyd, brothers of the groom. Ricky Green, nephew of the bride, was the junior groomsman. Ring bearers were Jacob and Garrett Boucher, nephews of the bride, and Steven Floyd, nephew of the groom.

Readers were Mr. Eric Green, brother of the bride, and Mr. Brandon Floyd, nephew of the groom. Mr. Blake Floyd, nephew of the groom, was the usher. Cathy Fitch, childhood friend of the bride, was soloist.

The couple reside in Swansboro, N.C.
