Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Adams of Powhatan, Va., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Lisa Renee Adams, to Mr. David Andrew Nida of Richmond, son of Rev. and Mrs. Ronald S. Nida of Lake Gaston, N.C.

Lisa graduated from Clover Hill High School and James Madison University with a master's degree in Education. She currently teaches third grade in Chesterfield County. David graduated from Lake Gaston Christian Academy and attended South Eastern College at Wake Forest. He is employed by ADT in Richmond.

Lisa and David met through Camp Willow Run, a Christian youth camp located in Lake Gaston, N.C., where they both worked during the summer of 2005. Their romance continued despite a year of separation while Lisa taught at an international school in Budapest, Hungary. In June 2007, Lisa returned from Hungary and David moved to Richmond. David proposed on December 22, 2007 after a romantic dinner at the Jefferson Hotel and a concert by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

A July 12, 2008 wedding is planned.
