Heartland Hospice, 1504 Santa Rosa Road, Richmond, VA, is seeking volunteers to visit terminally ill patients.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and complete a training class on July 12. They also will to have undergo a background check and a two-step TB test, which Heartland Hospice pays for.

Once training is completed, each volunteer is assigned to a patient. Each volunteer is required to visit the patient at least an hour each week.
