Painting pig now set to be on TV July 15
This little piggy got postponed.
So was the case with Smithfield, the Richmond area's painting pig, and his scheduled appearance on "America's Got Talent" on Tuesday.
But hang on, fans of fine swine -- he's now expected to appear next month.
The pot-bellied Picasso auditioned for the show in New York in April, and as of Tuesday afternoon, his segment was slated to air that night.
But late Tuesday, "Talent" producers had to slice some segments, Smithfield's among them.
Smithfield's owner, Fran Martin, wasn't aware of the nix, either, and had gathered with family and friends to watch Tuesday night.
But show producers have assured her that more New York auditions will air July 15, and Smithfield's is on the docket.
Things could change, of course, but it wouldn't hurt to set the TiVo.
