Sin é Irish Pub & Restaurant has added some new fare to its menu, while also retaining customer favorites including Irish nachos, shrimp and crab dip and spicy calamari.

The restaurant's chef Patty McGuire will now offer a gluten-free menu on request, and the entrée menu -- which still has the traditional corned beef and cabbage and fish and chips -- has been joined by pecan encrusted chicken and grilled pork tenderloin with apple-melon chutney.

The Martinis for Mutts fundraiser, which we wrote about a few weeks ago, has had a couple of changes in participating restaurants.

Scratch Star-Lite Dining and Lounge and Maggiano's Little Italy off the original list.

However, for the remainder of the month, $1 from every drink sale from a special menu at TJ's at The Jefferson, Buckhead's and Havana'59 will benefit the Richmond SPCA.

Open: Kan Pai, a Japanese steakhouse in Short Pump, has been serving for about a month. The restaurant is a free-standing building just west of Short Pump Town Center (11964 W. Broad St.).
