When: Brand spanking new concert hall open year-round bringing in big-name national and touring acts.
Description: Technically, The National doesn't host a "summer concert series." And it's not an outdoor concert venue either. The National is Richmond's newest music club located on Broad Street Street between Seventh and Eighth streets downtown. The opening of The National means there will be big summer concerts to look forward to at the new venue, including GWAR, Pennywise, Indigo Girls, Sara Evans, Weird Al Yankovic, Ani Difranco, as well as the homegrown Denali.
