A memorial fund has been established for two of the victims of Friday's plane crash that seriously injured Travis Barker and DJ AM. Barker's assistant, "Lil" Chris Baker, and bodyguard, Charles Still, died in the crash, as well as the plane's co-pilots. The Chris Baker Memorial Fund and the Charles Still Memorial Fund will benefit their respective families. Donations can be made to: Memorial Fund, 1840 S. Milliken, Ontario, CA 91761. . . . Neil Diamond has extended his tour behind "Home Before Dark," including a Dec. 8 show at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville. . . . This year's nominees for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are Metallica, Run-D.M.C., the Stooges, Jeff Beck, Chic, Wanda Jackson, Little Anthony and the Imperials, War and Bobby Womack. Five will be chosen in January for induction April 4. . . . Darius Rucker's No. 1 single on the country chart, "Don't Think I Don't Think About It," marks the first time a black solo artist has scored a No. 1 country single since Charley Pride in 1983. Fans of'80s pop might remember the name Jimmy Harnen, who, with his band Synch, had a hit with the ballad "Where Are You Now?" Harnen is now senior vice president of promotion for Rucker's label, Capitol Records/Nashville. . . . The first single from David Cook's upcoming album is available for listening at www.popeater.com. The song, "Lights On," sounds a bit like Seal and will be on Cook's Nov. 18 debut.
